WENATCHEE — New West Coast League president Dennis Koho said he hopes to build the league’s brand to being the “best league in North America,” when asked what he would like to accomplish with the position.

Koho concluded a WCL stadiums tour Tuesday when he watched the Wenatchee AppleSox open up their series against the Walla Walla Sweets. The president — who has been on the job almost exactly one month — said that he wants to expand the league’s prominence while maintaining the local charm many teams relish.
