The Cashmere Museum is offering personal tours this summer with a device you can carry in your hand.
With a grant from the Icicle Foundation, the museum bought 20 audio devices and uploaded more than 100 pre-recorded segments arranged by museum volunteers over the last year.
Just punch a number into the keypad to learn the stories behind the museum’s Native American and early American West artifacts and artwork, and the 2-acre Pioneer Village outside.
The museum is open daily 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors over 62, $45.0 for students 13 to 17 and $3.50 for children 6 to 12. For more information, call 782-3230.
