A local group of volunteer business advisors continues to offer counseling and workshops for start-up and existing enterprises.

SCORE, a 64-year-old national organization with a local chapter, offers free and confidential mentoring by appointment from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at their offices a 2 S. Chelan Ave.

The group also hosts brown-bag lunch workshops from noon to 1 p.m. every other Wednesday. Topics range from starting a business to tax regulations to Internet commerce. The next workshop is June 26; topic to be announced.
