WENATCHEE — The Apple Valley Packers picked up a pair of victories Tuesday in a back-to-back games against the 49ers and Kent Cannons.
The Packers scattered six hits across eight innings and won game one against the Kent Cannons 5-4.
Izzy Garcia went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs batted in and Griffey Halle was 1-for-2 with two runs and a run batted in.
Jacob Crone gave up just three hits and fanned four in 4 1/3 innings.
Apple Valley defeated the 49ers 4-3 in game two. It scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to reclaim the lead after trailing 3-2.
Kyle Blankenship went 3-for-3 with a run and a run batted in. Jacob Prater and Garrett Cordell both went 1-for-2 at the plate with a run.
Prater struck out five, gave up three hits and one earned run in four innings on the mound and Tyler Burch recorded four strikeouts and gave up just one hit in three innings of relief.
