WENATCHEE — The Marcia McBride Guild of Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle donated $3,650 this year to the hospital.
The money will be used for uncompensated care of children from Chelan and Douglas counties. The guild is based in Wenatchee. The money was raised by player fees from 14 groups of eight couples in the local rubber bridge league. Grand-prize winners from the 14 groups that played are Pat Scherting and Lois Williams.
