LA GRANDE, Ore. — A 75-year-old Wenatchee man was killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday near La Grande, Ore.
Richard “Terry” Grubb, a Wenatchee dentist, was found about 8 p.m. on a Forest Service road near the unincorporated town of Starkey, which is about 25 miles southwest of La Grande, said Sgt. Bill Miller with the Union County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon.
Grubb was in a group of other motorcyclists when he became separated from the group, Miller said. He was reported as an overdue motorist about 5 p.m. on Thursday. A member of the group found Grubb dead on the Forest Service road about 8 p.m.
