She lived in California until 1943, when the family moved to Cashmere, WA. Sandy attended Cashmere school, graduating in 1956. She received the grand cross of colors in the Cashmere Rainbow Assembly. In 1956, she went to Spokane and entered nurse’s training at Sacred Heart School of Nursing, where in 1957 she received her cap in nursing. She married Bob Davis on September 6, 1957, at Cashmere. Bob was in the Army Reserves at Fort Ord, CA, where she went to work for the hospital in Monterey. The family later lived in Puyallup until 1965, when they moved to Cashmere, where their three children, Kim, Kori and Troy, graduated from Cashmere High School. In 1986, they moved to East Wenatchee, where they have lived ever since. Sandy packed fruit for 32 years at various warehouses around the Valley. Sandy and Bob are members of Valley View Seventh Day Adventist Church in East Wenatchee.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Bob, of the family home; daughter, Kim (Pete) Spry of Cashmere; daughter, Kori Davis of East Wenatchee; son, Troy E. (Dana) Davis of Leavenworth; grandchildren, Johnny (Holly) Burns of Everett, Troy R. Davis (Katie Montoya) of Selah and Ellensburg, Jeremy (Mallory) Burns of Cashmere, Kelsey (Jeff) Ballard of Wenatchee and Boone Davis (Amanda Hart) of Cashmere; great-granddaughter, Ava Burns of Everett; sisters, Joyce Mendall of Seattle, Gaylene (Reese) Wardel of Arizona and Sue (Delbert) Snelson of Snohomish; sister-in-law, Nola Hensley of Cashmere; special friend, Swede Weedman of Cashmere; and also many nephews and nieces.

At Sandra’s request, there will be a gathering of family and friends Service only at the Cashmere Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Anderson of the Valley View Seventh Day Adventist Church in East Wenatchee officiating. Ward’s Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, is in charge of the arrangements.
