Hospital nurse charged with unprofessional conduct
A nurse who had been working in the intensive care unit at Central Washington Hospital has been charged with unprofessional conduct by the state Department of Health.
Stephanie M. Scott is accused of refusing to take a drug test after being questioned about missing narcotics. Hospital officials reported to the state that a review showed 88 unaccounted for medications had been dispensed to Scott.
Scott worked in the intensive care unit from June 2012 until she was fired Dec. 19.
