Former Seahawk to speak at luncheon

Former Seattle Seahawks fullback and assistant running back coach Mack Strong will be the guest speaker at the Apple Blossom Festival All-Service Club Luncheon.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. May 1 at the Wenatchee Center Grand Ballroom and the program will begin at noon. The luncheon is coordinated by Wenatchee Downtown Kiwanis.
Strong was a Seahawk for 14 years and retired in 2007.
Strong is on the board of the Washington chapter of HOPE worldwide, a non-profit that focuses on developing services around the globe for those in need.
Strong and his wife Zoë also founded Strong Alliance, a company that concentrates on corporate team building and creating education and leadership opportunities for youth.
