WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley College baseball team played 14 good innings Wednesday in its doubleheader against Walla Walla at Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium, according to Knights head coach Dustin Willis. They received excellent starting pitching from Beau Kerns and Allen Willey; played solid defense for the vast majority of the twinbill; and showed an ability to produce offense in a variety of ways. Add it all up, and Willis and the Knights have a lot of good things to take out of their Wednesday performance.
