WENATCHEE — Joe Cordes of Wenatchee won the Apple Blossom 5K run with a time of 17:17 on Saturday.
Daniel Olmstead was second overall with a time of 17:28, Doug Wood was third with a an 18:00, Dean Brim was fourth with an 18:37 and Mike Olmstead was fifth with an 18:39.
Carrie Nunnally finished first among women runners with a time of 20:49 and Jennifer Johnson was second with a 21:35.
Andee Kimes came in third in the women’s 5K with a 21:43, Savannah Brass finished fourth with a 22:07 and Allison Foreman was fifth with a 22:25.
Caleb Ambrose scored the best overall time in the 10K run with a score of 35:29, Andy Johnson was second with a 36:18, Justen Johansen was third with a 39:20, Michael Tonge was fourth with a 39:56 and Brandon Hoglund was fifth with a 40:07.
Colleen Miller led all 10K women runners with a time of 42:05, Stephanie Phipps was second with a 43:44, Carmen Johnson was third with a 43:50, Karen Pleas was fourth with a 43:54 and Lisa Heneghen was fifth with a 45:13.
About 500 runners competed Saturday.
There were 126 men running in the 5K race, 206 women running in the 5K, 54 men running in the 10K and 82 women competing in the 10K and several unregistered runners and a number of participants with incorrect stickers whose final times were not recorded.
