The work of a Leavenworth poet and a Wenatchee-born filmmaker will hit the big screen at the Seatttle International Film Festival next week. Steve Brown will present his first feature film, “Spark: A Burning Man Story, ” about a radical art and community-building event in the Nevada desert every August. The film captures the behind-the-scenes struggle as organizers try to balance their guiding principals with Burning Man’s booming popularity. Directed and produced by Brown, the film was a selection of the South By Southwest Film Festival and Ashland Independent Film Festival this year.
