QUINCY — A Quincy man is in stable but critical condition at Central Washington Hospital this morning after crashing his vehicle on Highway 28 Saturday night.
Javier Guzman, 25, was flown to the Wenatchee hospital after the 8:35 p.m. crash about seven miles east of Quincy, a Washington State Patrol report said.
Guzman was driving a 2004 Honda Accord west on Highway 28 when the rear right tire malfunctioned and he lost control, the report said. Guzman was ejected, and the vehicle left the highway, rolled and came to rest in a field on its wheels, the State Patrol said.
Guzman was wearing a seat belt, the report said. It said that that alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the crash.
