Classic rock sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart are coming to The Town Toyota Center Oct. 12. Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. June 6.
“Heart announced it this week, and we’ve already got a great buzz,” said TTC Marketing Director Jennifer Bushong. “We expect thousands to come.”
The Wilson sisters became pioneers in rock as two of the first front women of a chart-topping band, Heart. The Seattle band’s reign over the airwaves lasted more than 30 years with hits like “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda,” “These Dreams” and “Alone.” The Wilson sisters were inducted into the Rock ’n’ Role Hall of Fame in December.
Aside from the band, the sisters also built successful solo careers. Nancy Wilson composed and performed the scores to a half-dozen films, including “Jerry Maguire” and “Almost Famous.” Ann Wilson carved her own presence as a vocalist with “Best Man in the World,” by Goldenchild and “Almost Paradise” from the film “Footloose.”
The tickets range $35 to $65, depending on seat location. Reserve tickets at the box office, towntoyotacenter.com or call 667-7847.
