Triona Larsen

October 1, 1942 ~ October 31, 2013

Triona Larsen, 71, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013. She was born on October 1, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was the third of seven children born to Clifford William Hope and Beulah Gardner. In 1949, the family moved to Quincy. Triona attended Quincy High School, where she met and later married, her high school sweetheart, Dale Larsen, on June 8, 1960. Among her greatest joys were her many crafting and sewing projects, but even more important to her, was her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her the greatest happiness. She was also very active and involved in a wide variety of callings in the LDS Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, of Quincy, WA; and her oldest brother, Dal C. Hope of Lake Wenatchee. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dale Larsen; her five children and their families: Douglas (Julie) Larsen of Ephrata, WA, Teresa (Kevin) Belnap of Peoria, AZ, Patricia (Glen) Moon of Bluffdale, UT, Brent Larsen of Ritzville, WA, and Aaron (Chris) Larsen of Quincy, WA. She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Hope of Lake Wenatchee, WA and her other siblings, LaRea Webley of Spokane, WA, Linden “Shad” (Barbara) Hope of Benton City, WA, Karla Weiss of Olympia, WA, Kent (Holly) Hope of Lake Wenatchee, WA and Arlin (Kathy) Hope of Quincy, WA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, cousins, cousins and other family and friends.

Viewing will be held at the Quincy LDS Chapel Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Burial Service at Quincy Valley Cemetery.
