Bill and Joan Edwardson of Wenatchee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 2 with a family dinner. They also took a trip to Yellowstone National Park with their children and grandchildren during the summer.
Bill Edwardson and Joan Edwards were married Nov. 2, 1963, in Gig Harbor. He was with the Seattle Fire Department for 20 years and was chief of the Wenatchee Fire Department for 14 years. He was also on the Wenatchee City Council.
She is a homemaker.
The couple have a son and daughter-in-law, William Jr. and Tina Edwardson, and a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Ed Michael.
They have four grandchildren.
