The Wenatchee Valley could get its first dusting of snow overnight, but it’s not expected to stick around.
The National Weather Service is forecasting rain with a possibility of snow between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. The chance of precipitation is about 70 percent, but little or no snow accumulation is expected.
The Stevens Pass Ski area could get 6 inches of snow over the next couple of days. Blewett Pass may also get a few inches, and Lake Wenatchee and Winthrop are expected to get an inch or less of snow.
The same weather system is expected to dump rain across the region for the rest of the week. There will be a 70 percent chance of rain in Wenatchee on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, tapering off to a smaller chance on Friday and continuing through the weekend.
