This year’s brilliant autumn display is fading fast as colder, wetter weather arrives. These golden aspen leaves show hints of brown on a tree alongside Eightmile Creek in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area near Leavenworth — so enjoy them while you can. A 50 to 70 percent chance of rain or light snow is expected tonight through Thursday for the Wenatchee Valley with heavy snow accumulations possible on mountain passes.
