ENTIAT — There are not enough words to describe how amazed and grateful we are for the dedication, compassion and generosity of the 100-plus individuals who came to the grand opening event of the Entiat Valley Community Services FoodBank’s new building on Oct. 11.

We are grateful to the many volunteers who have given of themselves in the most precious way — their time. We also want to recognize the amazing work and commitment of volunteers WHO gave their time to help their neighbors by volunteering to provide services, DSHS/AACCW, Health Alliance, Columbia Valley Community Health for flu shots, SHIBA, CHORE, RSVP, Wishmasters, Literacy Council of Chelan and Douglas Counties, and the dentists and dental assistants who provided dental services through Mobile Team International to uninsured people.
