Joseph Alfred Oswald Sr., 85, of Plain, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013.

He had resided in Plain for 35 years. He had been president and owner of Merchants Moving and Storage in Bremerton. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Oswald; his children, Joe Oswald Jr. of Monroe, Paula Oswald of San Diego, Anita Christensen of Tacoma, Michael Oswald of Silverdale, Carol Rank of Port Orchard and Christine Fisher and Beth Oswald, both of Bremerton; and his siblings, Mary Ann Oswald and Edward Oswald, both of Tacoma.

A celebration of life will be held later this month in Tacoma.

Arrangements are by the Neptune Society.
