WATERVILLE — Farmers and ranchers who want a say in federal farm programs have until Dec. 2 to cast their vote in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency county committee election.
To be eligible to vote, producers must have participated in any FSA program and be of legal voting age.
Ballots have been sent to eligible voters in designated areas of Chelan County (Monitor, Dryden, Peshastin, Cashmere and Leavenworth) and the northwest portion of Douglas County. Ballots must be returned in person or by mail by Dec. 2.
