Workshop to focus on taxes for businesses

EAST WENATCHEE — A free tax workshop for new and small business owners will be hosted here next week by the state Department of Revenue.

The workshop will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Douglas County Fire District 2, 377 Eastmont Ave.

Participants will learn about state excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. All will receive a workbook and reference guide to DOR rules and regulations.
