FLINT, Mich. -- The Wenatchee Wild kicked off their weekend doubleheader with a lopsided 5-1 win Friday against the Michigan Warriors.

Parker Tuomie and Matthew Nuttle both scored in the first period to put the Wild ahead 2-0 at the end of the first period, Nicholas Rivera scored while shorthanded to put the team ahead 3-0 in the second period and Rivera and Troy Loggins both lit the lamp in the final period to give the team a 5-1 edge.
