Homer R. Wolfe, 97, of Wenatchee, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013.

He had lived in Wenatchee for over 65 years. He was a longtime director of the WSU Tree Fruit Research & Extension Center in Wenatchee and was later appointed to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Wolfe; his daughters, Sharon S. Wolfe of Lynnwood and Maureen J. Neubauer of Lake Tapps; and his brother, Lee Arthur Wolfe of Wilbur.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
