Many bags full

Thank you to the Wenatchee Fire Department. After dealing with mud and debris from the latest big rain storm, we wanted to prevent the next runoff. Neither the city nor the county could tell us where and how we could get sandbags. I mentioned this to a local firefighter, and he notified Glen Widener. Glen immediately started making phone calls and didn’t stop until he got results. He found where he could get the bags, the firefighters themselves filled them, and the Public Works Department delivered them. Our neighborhood appreciates all their hard work.
