Police: No evidence of trauma on body found near Foothills school

WENATCHEE —Police say they found no obvious signs of trauma or evidence of foul play today as they investigated the death of a man whose body was found in a small irrigation ditch near Foothills Middle School.

Police have identified the white male whose body was found by students en route to school about 7:30 a.m., said Sgt. Jim West with the Wenatchee Police Department. Police say they have talked to some of his family members but are not yet releasing the man's name. He was a Wenatchee resident and was 38 years old.
