WENATCHEE —Police say they found no obvious signs of trauma or evidence of foul play today as they investigated the death of a man whose body was found in a small irrigation ditch near Foothills Middle School.

Police have identified the white male whose body was found by students en route to school about 7:30 a.m., said Sgt. Jim West with the Wenatchee Police Department. Police say they have talked to some of his family members but are not yet releasing the man's name. He was a Wenatchee resident and was 38 years old.
