Robert W. McElroy, 78, a longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.

He had worked as a machine operator for Burlington Northern Railroad for many years.

Survivors include his children, Vicki Streit of Seattle, Sandy McElroy of Wenatchee and Gordy McElroy of Wenatchee; and his brother, Urchel McElroy of Coulee City.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
