...WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF THE REGION POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK... .A LONG PERIOD OF LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL ADD UP TO POSSIBLE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER A 24 TO 36 HOUR PERIOD. ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BEGIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN THE CASCADES AND BEGINNING THURSDAY EVENING OVER THE REST OF THE REGION. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF OVER MOST AREAS BY LATE FRIDAY...SNOW SHOWERS

Ronald D. Bayne, 54, of East Wenatchee, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.

He was a lifetime Wenatchee Valley resident. He worked for WI Forest Products and at Alcoa.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Bayne of East Wenatchee; his children, Michelle Hastings of East Wenatchee and Brandon Bayne of Seattle; his parents, John and Shirley Bayne of Wenatchee; and his siblings, John Bayne of Cashmere and Julie Tarbert of Wenatchee.

A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
