Work history: Served in the Air Force for 5.5 years, then worked 31 years for GTE/Verizon in Quincy before retiring in 2009.
Experience: Served 10 years on the Quincy city council (1998-2007). Was appointed mayor in 2009 to fill out term of Mayor Dick Zimmerman, who resigned. Was reelected to the mayor’s post in 2009.

Patricia “Patty” Naigle-Martin
Work history: Her primary job, she says, was raising four kids, but she’s also played basketball in Sweden and worked as recreation director for an Alaska school district, as morale specialist at the Umatilla Army Depot and as a longtime swim and water-safety instructor.
Experience: Served as Quincy mayor from 1993 to 1997, working to improve water quality, improve the city swimming pool, acquire land for parks and secure millions of dollars in grants; affiliated since 1972 with the American Red Cross water safety program; honored in 1990 for her “Outstanding Service to the Community” by the Quincy Chamber of Commerce; received the Sierra Club’s Environmental Justice Award this year for efforts to publicize the effects of diesel generators used by data centers.
Education: Degree from Gonzaga University, with emphasis in pre-med.
Personal: Married to Glenn Martin. They have four children.
