Two Quincy women died around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after their mini van collided with a pickup that had crossed the center line of Highway 28, three miles east of Quincy.
Driver of the Ford Aerostar van, Judy Richardson, 64, died at the scene, according to a State Patrol news release this morning.
Her passenger, Anna Hagerman, 79, was transported to Quincy Valley Hospital, where she died.
The driver of the pickup, Spencer Cobb, 17, of Ephrata, was also transported to Quincy Valley Hospital, where he was treated and released, according to a hospital official.
The van was eastbound on Highway 28 when the westbound pickup drifted off the roadway to the right, overcorrected into the eastbound lane and struck the van. The collision is under investigation.
