Native plant restoration to honor Jeff Parsons

LEAVENWORTH — The Wenatchee River Institute (WRI) invites the public to join in creating a native garden to celebrate and honor the contributions of Jeff Parsons, founding director of the Barn Beach Reserve.

Work parties are scheduled for Sunday afternoons through Nov. 10. You can buy plants for the garden at a work party or donate to the project by sending a check to WRI, P.O. Box 2073, Leavenworth, WA 98826.
