For those of you with a taste for classics, this weekend has three offerings, starting with Friday night’s guitarist, Jack Sanders, a Piatigorsky performer.

He plays at The Grove, the performance hall at Wenatchee Valley College’s Center for Music and Art. The next morning at Leavenworth comes a live opera from the Met on the screen at Snowy Owl, Schostakovich’s “The Nose,” which opens at 9:55 a.m., the second of a new series directly from New York.
