WENATCHEE — Cascade Adaptive Sports, an occupational therapy and adaptive sports clinic for children with special needs, will host an ice skating activity with the Wenatchee Wild.
The skate will take place at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 5 at Town Toyota Center’s main ice arena.
Children will have the opportunity for one-on-one time with a Wild player, who will be assisting them to skate. No previous experience is required. Children and adults are welcome to join, including those in wheelchairs.
All children and adults must bring a bike helmet to wear, or they will not be able to skate on the ice.
The skating session will be held from 5:30 to 6:30, and will be followed by an autograph/photograph session with the players and Wild mascot from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pizza and dessert will be available for participants and Wild players during this time.
Space is limited. To reserve your child’s spot with a $5 donation, or for more information, call Jerry Olivas at Cascade Adaptive Sports, 665-8874 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
