...HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN CASCADES... .A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE CASCADES FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

Eleanor ‘Ele’ Marie Jones

Eleanor “Ele” Marie Jones, 78, of Wenatchee, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.

She was a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident. She had worked in social services for the Community Action Council in Wenatchee. She had also worked for the Wenatchee Downtown Association.

Survivors include her children, Diane Perry of Spokane, Roy Jones and David Jones, both of Portland, Ore., Robert Jones of Wenatchee and Christopher Jones of Parkdale, Ore.; and her brother, James Ware of Hawaii.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Jones & Jones-Betts Memorial Chapel, with private entombment following at the Wenatchee City Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home in Wenatchee.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home.
