Mary Jo Milne wrote a column in The World for 20 years, 1973-93, called The Fantasy Farm, a weekly feature that was widely read.
She retired to Cashmere, and passed away nine years ago. But her family has kept those articles from the column (which was named after the family farm) and put them into a four-volume paperback set.
Husband Chuck says they are selling the set to benefit the Cashmere schools.
For $100 the Milnes are selling a four-volume set of the columns of 20 years total for the benefit of the Cashmere School Foundation.
Chuck Milne says that school scholarships would be the beneficiaries of the funds.
This is a real memorial for a fine writer and a wonderful lady whose memory is enshrined in those four volumes.
