CHELAN — Two Chelan County sheriff’s deputies rescued a man from a burning trailer late Monday night on property about nine miles north of Chelan.
Deputies Ryan Moody and Adam Musgrove “physically took a man out of the trailer,” said John Wisemore, Chelan County undersheriff.
The man was not badly hurt.
The fire at 55 Washington Creek Road was reported at 11:52 p.m.
Chelan County Fire District 7 responded to the fire. Officials from that agency were at the fire scene this morning and could not be reached for comment.
The rescued man was later arrested in “a minor assault charge,” Wisemore said. He did not have details on the assault.
