LAS VEGAS — Wenatchee native Sarah Barkley finished second in the female 30-34 age group at the 70.3 Ironman World Championships on Sunday.
She finished 25th in the overall female standings.
Barkley posted a time of 39 minutes, 17 seconds for a 1.2-mile swim; finished a 56.6-mile bike ride in two hours, 33 minutes, 59 seconds; and completed a 13.1-mile run in 1:32:31 for a total time of 4:50:35.
