George R. Cole, 94, of Spokane, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013.

He grew up in Dryden, graduating from Dryden High School in 1936. He had resided in Spokane since 1945 where he, along with his wife, built a small chain of automotive parts stores, retiring in 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cole of Spokane; and his children, David Cole of Spokane and Carol Anne Vanetta of Carnation.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way in Spokane.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, Spokane.
