YAKIMA — The Wenatchee boys cross country team had another strong finish at a Big Nine meet Thursday, finishing second behind Eisenhower, despite having a hurt No. 2 runner in their lineup.
Cole Christman won the meet with a time of 16:05.25, which gave the Panthers a boost. Christman took an early lead and never trailed in the race.
“It was pretty nice to see him come away with the win,” coach Susan Valdez said in a phone interview.
