L&I to host free workshop for employers

EAST WENATCHEE — A workshop from the state Department of Labor & Industries will help business owners and managers understand how L&I works and some of the essential requirements for both employers and workers.

The free workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15, at the L&I office at 519 Grant Road, East Wenatchee.

The workshop will include training in understanding workers’ compensation, wage and hours rules, workplace safety requirements, contractor registration rules, quarterly reporting requirements, management of claims and safety and risk management consultations.
