WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley College men’s soccer team lost to Edmonds 4-1 on Saturday at Mike Hollis Field.
The Tritons scored twice in the first half and twice more in the second half before the Knights (2-4-1 overall, 1-2-0 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges East Region) scored a late on a Hector Vaca Munoz goal.
WVC 2, Everett 0 (Friday)
The Knights won their second game of the year, beating visiting Everett.
Juan Carlos Magana scored for WVC in the 39th minute, and Jonathan Molina tacked on another goal in the 90th minute.
Fabian Alvarez and Williams Pineda notched assists, while Antonio Madera made eight saves for WVC.
Edmonds 5, WVC 0 (Saturday)
Kirsten Flones made 11 saves, but Annelise Coxeff tallied a hat trick to lead the Edmonds women’s soccer team to a victory over host WVC (0-6-0, 0-4-0).
Everett 3, WVC 1 (Friday)
Paighton Miller scored in the 54th minute for the Knights to tie the game at 1-1, but Everett scored two late goals to pick up a road victory.
Flones made 10 saves for WVC.
The Knights lost to Skagit Valley and lost to Pierce on Saturday at the Clackamas Crossover Tournament in Oregon City, Ore.
Skagit defeated WVC 27-25, 25-19, 25-15 and Pierce beat the Knights 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.
