Training for new and experienced supervisors in all sectors of business and government will be held here in October.

The training sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 8-9 in the Hardin Room at Big Bend Community College, 7662 Chanute St. N.E., Moses Lake.

Improving supervisor performance helps every employer” said Jaxon Riley, BBCC’s coordinator for the Center for Business and Industry Services. “But local human resource professionals have noted that they especially need training for newly promoted employees.”

Advanced supervisor training could be offered in November, said Riley, if employers show enough interest.

Registration for the two-day workshop is $100 and class size is limited. To register, email Kendra Pfundheller at kendra.pfundheller@bbsihq.com.
