WENATCHEE — Which roads, bridges or other big transportation issues in NCW are critically in need of big state dollars to fix? A second bridge over the Wenatchee River north of the city? A replacement for Cashmere’s Goodwin Bridge? Would you agree to raise the fuel tax to fund them? State Senate Transportation Committee members will be in Wenatchee this evening to gather public and agency opinion.
Wenatchee’s meeting is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chelan County PUD Auditorium, 327 N. Wenatchee Ave. It’s one of seven the senators are hosting around the state. Earlier meetings west of the Cascades drew huge crowds.
