Loren E. Marsh

May 10, 1926 ~ September 21, 2013

Loren E. Marsh passed away on September 21, 2013 in Wenatchee, WA. Loren was born in Sedro-Woolley, WA on May 10, 1926, to Everett Marsh and Florence (Eldred) Marsh. After graduating from high school, he married Ruth Mack in 1945. He then proudly served in the Army and was stationed in Saipan. Loren earned a degree in Economics from WWU in Bellingham, WA. As a young man, Loren worked as a logger, but for most of his career, he made a successful living selling insurance, RV’s and mobile homes. Loren truly valued time spent with his family and friends. He has a strong faith in the Lord and captured any opportunity to share this with others. In his later years, Loren spent much of his time traveling, and particularly enjoyed time on the road, and in Arizona and Tennessee. A few years ago, Loren relocated to Wenatchee, WA, living next door to his best friend from childhood. He was active in the Senior Community and the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by three children, Robert J. and his wife, Nancy Marsh, David L. and his wife, Lisa Marsh and Sharon E. and her husband, William Benson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; former wives, Ruth Mack, Eva Anderson, Elizabeth Marsh and Olamae Malin; and his beloved friend Barbara. Loren is preceded in death by his parents and dear sister, Juanita Marsh. Loren was a kind man and will be missed a great deal.

A Graveside Service will be held at Union Cemetery,

Sedro-Woolley, WA, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Memorial contributions may be made to World Outreach Ministry Foundation, P.O. Box 23267, Federal Way, WA. 98093-0267. Services are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Share your memories of Loren and sign the online guest register at
