...HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN CASCADES... .A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE CASCADES FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

George Kikuchi, 93, of Quincy, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014.

With his brother, Jun Kikuchi, he owned and operated the Kikuchi Brothers farm in Quincy until he retired in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kikuchi; his children, Neil Kikuchi and Paul Kikuchi; and his siblings, Fumi Tateoka, Mary Okada and Tom Kikuchi.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 715 N. Central Ave., Quincy.

Arrangements are by Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel, Quincy.
