Autism awareness event set for April 12

EAST WENATCHEE — The North Central Washington Chapter of the Autism Society of Washington has planned a free autism awareness event on April 12.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby, 10 Grant Road. Douglas County Sheriff’s Command Center will be on hand to take information from caregivers and family in case of an emergency. There will be data forms for families to fill out, and families are encouraged to bring a photo of individuals to include with the forms.
