Mary Lou (Haight) Dorsey

October 22, 1931 ~ March 29, 2014

Mary Lou (Haight) Dorsey passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in East Wenatchee, WA. Her niece, Mona (Haight) Cooper, was by her side at the time of death. She was born on October 22, 1931, in Vernonia, OR to Victor D. and Ruby Rachel (Acord) Haight. Mary Lou graduated from Chelan High School. She worked for GTE Telephone in Chelan for 16 years and worked for Washington State Department of Transportation, retiring in 1997. She was a very talented artist. Mary Lou had a great love of her four legged friends, and she was avid fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks.

She is survived by her son, Terry M. Stevens of East Wenatchee; sister, Ladonna (Morris) Haight Bartlette of Surprise, AZ; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, Victor and Ruby Haight; and her brothers, C. Victor (Eula) Haight, Brion Leroy Haight and Donald D. (Helen) Haight.

There will be No Service. Family Inurnment will be held at Chelan Fraternal Cemetery. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guestbook at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, WA.
