Prep roundup: Cashmere softball’s late rally sparks blowout win

ROYAL CITY — The Cashmere Bulldogs softball squad got off to a slow start offensively and struggled to put up runs in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader against Royal. They lost 8-7, despite a five-run rally in the bottom of the seventh.

That effort carried over into the nightcap, though, and Cashmere (3-3 overall) used that momentum to sail to a 10-3 victory in game two.
