Zane William Sand, 61, a 32-year resident of Wenatchee, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

He worked for many years as a painter and operated Valley Painting Services since 1989.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie Sand of Wenatchee; son Zane Sand of East Wenatchee; daughter Julie Parker of Wenatchee; sisters Jetta (Paul) Rodal of Granada Hills, Calif., and Janell Sand of Spokane.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel of East Wenatchee.
