JWG students earn awards at conference

GRAND MOUND — Five students from the Jobs for Washington’s Graduates Association (JWG) of Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center earned 12 awards at a JWG Student Leadership conference held March 5 in Grand Mound.

Francisca Cuin received two gold medals for Public Speaking and Portfolio Presentation. Matea Pospical received a gold award for Interview Skills, plus two silver awards for Public Speaking and Portfolio Presentation. Judith Jimenez-Leon received a gold award for Public Speaking and two silver awards for Interview Skills and Portfolio Presentation. Anmeris “Gloria” Cabrera was awarded a bronze for Interview Skills and two silvers for Public Speaking and Portfolio Presentation. Laura Castellanos received a bronze medal for Portfolio Presentation.
